The Shenzhou-16 astronauts gave their first science lecture(讲座) on the afternoon of September 21 from the Tiangong space station to students around the world. 

During the 48-minute lecture, the astronauts Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao first greeted students and showed their living and work areas. They also shared their experiences in space. The astronauts then performed several experiments(实验) to show physical phenomena(现象) in the special environment inside the space station. 

They invited students to do similar experiments on the ground to find the differences, as well as answered their questions. 

Five classrooms were set on the grounds including one at the gym of Beihang University in Beijing. More than 2400 students and teachers from the university and other schools attended the "ground class" at the gym. 

"I felt very privileged to watch the lecture, which showed our nation\s power in science and technology," said Li Baixuan, a student from Beihang Experimental Primary School. "The astronauts showed us what science and technology can achieve. I wish to fly to space someday like them. "

The activity marked the fourth lecture of the "Tiangong Class" series. The lecture not only reminded people how important it is to develop Space technology, but also encouraged many children to develop an interest in science and even dream of becoming great scientists. 

Wang Jibing is a 55-year-old delivery(投递) man living and working in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. One day in 2019, Wang had an unhappy experience. A customer left a wrong address. He searched three buildings and climbed eighteen floors before he finally delivered the food to the customer who scolded(责怪) Wang for arriving, late. 

"I had argued with him, I might have got negative feedback(差评) and lost my job. I had no choice but to say sorry all the time, "I recalled Wang, who makes about 6, 000 yuan a month by delivering food. 

On his way home that day, Wang wrote a poem, . Man in a Hurry, to express his feelings. Since then, Wang has been writing poems. Wang's poems are simple and real. He often shares them with his friends. 

In 2022, one of Wang Jibing's friends posted Man in a Hurry online. It quickly, went viral (走红) and was viewed over 20 million times. The same year, Wang, published a collection of more than 180 poems, under the same title. His poems and stories deeply touched people who share similar struggles in their lives. 

This April, Wang published his second poetry collection, titled I Love This World Clumsily, which includes about 130 poems. 

So far, Wang has written about 4, 000 poems. "Those poems came to me naturally and I enjoyed writing them very much" he said. "However, the most important thing for me is to look after my family, so I will continue with my present job. "

"Poetry is like a break from stress and away to record my life. Although there is pain stressful situations, and struggles in life, poetry makes me confident and happy," says Wang. 

Many Chinese mothers are afraid that their children will fall behind their classmates, so these mothers are becoming "tiger mothers". They believe the harder their children study, the happier life they will have in the future. Is it true? Lulu and her sister Sophia may have a say.

Recently, a short video from Chongqing has become hot on the Internet. In the video, a bus is moving on the road in a village. When the driver notices a schoolbag hanging outside the door of an old house，he stops and honks (按喇叭). Soon, a boy rushes outside, carries the schoolbag and gets on the bus. 

The bus driver is Cheng Lin. He has driven from Luotian to Wuqiao Nan Station for many years. There are many left —behind children along the route — they go to school in the city on Sundays and come back on Fridays. Cheng knows the importance of his role on the their way to and from school, so he pays a lot of attention to them. 

The boy is a Grade 9 student who goes to school by himself. He lives with his grandmother because his parents work in another city and seldom come back. Mr. Cheng cares about him a lot. They have developed a secret code(代码) . If the boy needs to catch the bus, he will hang his schoolbag outside. When Mr. Cheng sees it, he will honk. 

The boy's parents were deeply moved by the driver's kindness when they saw the video. "As parents, we feel very happy because someone is taking care of our child. We are very thankful to Mr. Cheng," says the father. 

Mr. Cheng's story is well known and he is praised as a good driver. He says it's just a little thing and that he will continue doing it. 

Every year, millions of birds are killed or hurt when they fly into buildings. Why does this happen?  Birds are flying into windows and tall buildings that are all covered by glass. 

Many birds fly from one place to another. Most of the time, they live in the wild, such as forests and wet lands.  They might see small trees and flowers inside a window and want to rest on these plants. The birds do not know there is glass between them and the plants. 

Some birds fly at night. They use the moon and stars to help guide them in the right direction Tall buildings with lights on at night can confuse the birds.  The birds see the light, but they cannot tell that the light is inside a building. They fly toward the light and crash into the building. On many mornings, there might be several dead birds lying on the ground. 

 Many office buildings now turn off their lights at night. This helps reduce the number of birds that fly into buildings and it also helps save energy.
