Joey goes to the park with his friend Kyle. He sees an envelope（信封）near a tree. "Look," he says, "It's an envelope." Kyle says, "Yes, and there's 1 name on the back. It says Mary Hill." English is one of the most important subjects in middle schools. Everyone knows that we should learn English well, but how can we learn it well? Here are some pieces of good advice.
First, if we want to learn English well, please love it. Don't feel shy when we say or speak English.
Second, practice the pronunciation of the new words we learn in the book.
Third, if we have time, listen to the radio or English programs. Try to understand what it says. It can help us improve our listening and understanding.
Fourth, find some friends who like English. Write e-mail messages in English to each other, using a dictionary or the Internet to make sure every word is correct.
Fifth, when we are walking down the street, try to say the things we see in English. Don't be afraid of making mistakes
Sixth, read a book, a newspaper or a novel in English for an hour every day.
Finally, the best way to learn English well, I think, is to use English all the time. Keep using it everyday no matter how busy you are.
