A few years ago, I had a serious car accident. A big truck hit my car from behind, and I1 to the hospital. After the accident, I suffered a lot of pain2 my back. The doctor told me it would take about half a year3 better. At the start, the pain was so bad that I could hardly move. I had to go for physical treatment three4 a week. The doctor also gave5 exercises to do at home. After a few weeks,I started to feel better and6 pain was becoming less. However, one morning,I woke up and my back hurt again. It was very disappointing! But l didn't give up. I continued with my exercises. Finally I could move7 . After about six months, the pain disappeared completely. Now, I'm doing great and can do all the things I8 before the accident.

Songbirds are the birds with a beautiful voice. Different kinds of songbirds wake up at different times in the morning and begin to sing. This is because they have different waking clocks, according to the brightness of the sunlight.
We mostly hear bird concerts between spring and summer. This is the time when birds are looking for partners. Studies have shown that songs play an important role in attracting possible partners and may even show the health of the singer. Even after they have found a partner, male (雄性的) birds continue to sing, because it's a way of showing their babies how to sing.
Although baby birds know the songs they will sing as adults, true songbirds have to learn how to sing properly. Nestlings begin learning their songs by listening to adults around them. They go through several stages of learning, just like humans learning language. First, they practise voices and sounds, which is like the early stage in human language development. Then, during the second stage, the birds practise their songs for eight to nine months. The singing is improved a lot during the final stage with the help of their teachers.
Like humans, members of each kind of songbirds have their own dialects (方言). These are learnt from their parents when the birds are children.

Heads up! Sport injuries(损伤) are a safety problem for athletes. Now, the World Medical Association (WMA) has made a new set of rules to protect players from serious head injuries.
"Often the athletes with head injuries want to return to the sport as soon as possible because they fear missing the chance for success, but actually the injuries remain and they will easily cause more harm to the brain. By providing the proper rules, we can prevent the wounded athletes from going back to the sport too soon and taking the risk of getting brain problems. "said Dr. Raymond, a WMA member.
The rules recommend that the wounded athletes should be taken off the field and sent to the nearest hospital as soon as possible. Time can make a big difference in how soon they can recover (痊愈). They can only return to their sport when the doctors allow them to. The rules also suggest that the health care doctors should treat these athletes differently according to the ages.
The WMA says that between 1.6 million and 3.8 million brain injuries caused by sport happen every year. A study also shows that as many as 40% of high school athletes return top laying before they should. The WMA's new rules may help reduce these numbers.
