Welcome 1 Jiefang Street. It's a very busy street. On the right of the street is the History Museum. That is a very big building. It is a great place to learn Chinese history. 2 the museum is the Bank of China. Every day lots of people come here and save their money3 get their money. Next to the bank is a post office. There is a bus stop behind the post office. 

A big supermarket is on the4 of Jiefang Street. It is Huaxia Supermarket. There are all kinds of nice things in it. If you want to buy something 5 , you can go to the first floor. On the second floor, there are some TV sets, and CD players. If you want to buy nice clothes, you can go to the third floor. And on the fourth floor is some furniture(家具). 

If you are 6 , you can go to the Queen Coffee House and have a rest. The coffee house is 7 the supermarket and the bookstore. 

The school sports club tryouts(选拔赛) are today. The track team (田径队)wants 1 good runners this term. Harry 2 to be one of them. It's 5:00 am. Getting up so early to exercise is not 3 for Harry, but he still gets up. 

At 10:00 am, the track team tryouts begin. Harry is trying his best to run when a runner next to him falls over (跌倒). Harry goes to 4 him, but unluckily, Harry comes in third place at last. 

"Good boy, Harry! But I'm 5 to tell you that you can't join the track team this time," Mr Green, a PE teacher, says. 

Harry is not happy to know that but he doesn't want to give up (放弃).

"That's good!" Harry says.

Getting up for the early 8 pays off(得到回报). Harry is happy that he is in a team. Being a football player is also great for him!

Life in the future will be different from life today. Many changes will happen. But what will the changes be?

The population (人口) is growing fast. There will be more people in the world and most of them will live longer than people live now. 

Computers will be much smaller and more useful, and there will be at least one in every home. And computer studies will be one of the important subjects in school then. People will work fewer hours than they do now and they will have more free time for sports, watching TV and travelling. Travelling will be much cheaper and easier. 

There will be changes in our food, too. More land will be used for building new towns and houses for all the people. Then there will be less room for cows and sheep, so meat will be more expensive. Maybe no one will eat it every day. Instead (相反), they will eat more fruit and vegetables. Maybe people will be healthier. Work in the future will be different, too. Robots will do dangerous and hard work. Because of this, many people will not have enough (足够的) work to do. This will be a problem. 

Children all around the world love Lego bricks(乐高积木). With those bricks, they can make anything they want. Lego bricks are a great toy(玩具) to play with. Now, for the first time, Lego makes Braille Bricks in English and French, making them a useful toy for blind(失明的) children. 

Lego Braille Bricks have dots (小圆点) on them. The dots are Braille. By feeling (感受) them, blind children can read words and numbers. They can also learn Braille when playing with the bricks. It makes learning easy and fun. 

Olivia is a blind girl, and she learns Braille when playing with the Lego bricks at her school. She loves to play with them and learn Braille at the same time. Her mother also plays with her at home and now she also knows Braille. 

Reece, a little boy, uses the Lego bricks to teach his family Braille. Now, his mother and sister know Braille as well. He says, "I feel so good. Because my loved ones learn something new and I am their teacher. So cool!"

Lego makes its colourful bricks useful. Let's thank it for bringing a new way of playing and learning!

Do you have a study plan? It helps you know how to spend your time. How can you make a good study plan?

How much time do you need for studying? Which subject do you want to study each day? You should know the answers to the questions. For example, you can study maths on Mondays and Thursdays. 

Second, have a plan for each week. At the beginning of each week, you should ask yourself this question, "What do I want to get this week?" You can adjust(调整)your study plan to meet your goals (目标). 

Third, finish your plan. Maybe it is difficult at first, but you should try to finish it. 

One afternoon, Mia sees a bright light(强光)moving in a strange way in her garden(花园). She goes to find out. She sees an alien spaceship, and then an alien coming out of it. It has two big eyes and wears hat. It walks to Mia. 

"Hello, my name is Zog," the alien says. "Hi, I'm Mia. You look so

(different). "Mia asks. 

"I'm another planet (另一颗行星),"Zog says. 

"So why are you here?" Mia asks. 

"I'm lonely by  (I) on my planet. I want to make friends with people on other planets. I choose the earth(地球)people here are nice," Zog says. "I see. I'm very happy (be) your friend, " Mia says. 

Zog and Mia play games in the garden. They have so much (fun)together. When it is time

for Zog to leave, Mia feels sad. 

"Why not (come) with me and visit my planet?" Zog says. "Good idea, but I need to ask my parents (one)," Mia says. 

"OK. Your parents can come with you too," Zog says. 

A few(minute) later, Mia comes back. 

"My parents are happy to visit your planet," Mia says. 

"Great! Let's go!" Zog says.
