The Giant's Garden
The children were very1 when they played in the Giant's garden. But one day, the Giant came back and2 them. He built a wall to keep the children out. Without them, the garden became lifeless, as if it had no 3 .
One morning, the Giant heard a bird's song. He looked out and saw the children in the garden with beautiful flowers. But in one corner, a small boy could not again.The trees were 4 reach the5 branches of the tree. The Giant felt sorry for what he did. He put the boy in the tree and knocked down the wall. Spring came back, and the garden was 6 once more.
The Giant was no longer7 .He played with the children every day, but the little boy never came back. Many years passed, and the Giant grew very old and weak. One day, he saw the boy standing under a blossoming(开花的) tree. On the boy's hands and feet were8 made by nails. "These are the wounds of Love" the boy said. "You let me play in your garden. Now, you will come with me to Paradise."

UNESCO is part of the United Nations.It was started in 1945. In 1959, the temples at AbuSimbel in Egypt were in danger because of a new dam.UNESCO raised money to move the temples to a safe place. This success led to a new idea.
UNESCO, along with other groups, made a plan to protect important cultural and natural site around the world. This plan was accepted in 1972.
Today, there are about 800 UNERSO World Heritage Sites worldwide. Most of them are cultural sites. Italy and Spain have the most, followed by France and Germany. Every year, about 12 new sites are added to the list.
Countries that are members of UNESCO can suggest new sites. They give some of the UNESCO money to a special fund. The fund gets about $3.5 million a year. The money is used to take care of the sites and protect them from danger.
Seeds are small packages that protect young plants. They have all the food the plant needs to start growing. Seeds come in many different shapes and sizes. This helps each seed survive in its own environment and spread without being eaten by hungry animals.
Seed shapes
The giant coco de mer seed is very big. It holds a lot of food so the new plant can grow tall and strong. The poppy seed is different. It makes many tiny seeds instead of one big seed. This helps more poppy plants grow. Some seeds have spiky coats, like the horse chestnut and the kiaat seed pod. The spikyots stop animals from eating them. Other seeds, like avocado and peach seeds, are very hard.Most animals can't chew them.
Sometimes, what we think is that seeds are actually fruits with seeds inside. Sunflower.coriander, and pot marigold are examples of this.
How seeds travel
Plants can't move from one place to another like animals can. They are held in place by their roots. If plants dropped their seeds right next to them, the new plants would have to fight for food and sunlight. So, plants have found many ways to spread their seeds far and wide. They use exploding seed pods, animals, the wind or even water to carry their seeds to new places to grow.

With bis friends' help, Joe created a community in the WeChat group, Shenzhen Guide. At first.the group was created to invite outdoor lovers to join in the events he organized. Since Joe and his friends would share useful information about entertainment, events and news, the group quickly developed as friends would invite other friends to join. Joe then worked to build Shenzhen Guide into a noncommercial brand where those unfamiliar with the city could ask questions, find useful information, or even ask for help.
"I hope everybody likes Shenzhen as much as I do," Joe said. The city is full of beauty, but there were no detailed English introductions to its beauty, mountains and other beautiful places.
