Once upon a time, there was a boy named Tim. He lived in a small 1 with nice mountains(山) and rivers. It was great to play there, 2 Tim was always busy with his computer games and never noticed the beauty around him.
Tim's grandfather was worried and always 3 about how great the nature(自然) was with him. "What clean and beautiful lake it is!",his grandfather often said. One day,but he was not very 4 .
As they walked in the village,Tim's grandfather pointed out many 5 things, such as colourful flowers with bright leaves, mother birds flying back homes with food to 6 their babies. They even climbed to the top of the hill so that they could see the sights 7 . His grandfather also told him some stories behind each place. Some of the stories were really funny and made Tim 8 all the time. Tim got to enjoy these beautiful things for the first time.
At the end of the trip,Tim's grandfather told Tim not to 9 the small things in life, like a sunny day or a friendly smile. From that day on,Tim learned to enjoy every moment and be thankful.
He thought that there was much more to life compared to 10 . Tim decided to spend more time outdoors and take short trips with his grandfather more often.

Dear Sarah,
I hope you are doing well!I wanted to share my holiday with you. Last month,my family and I went on a fantastic trip to a beautiful mountain .
We started our trip early in the morning, driving for about one hour to a small village and then it took us half an hour to get to the foot of the mountain. The air was fresh and the mountain was green. It was like a big park and we felt so good to be away from the busy city life.
On the first day,we went for a walk. We walked along a beautiful trail (小路) through forests. Along the way, listening to the sound of the water. In the afternoon,we finally got to the top of the mountain. It was great! We took many photos to remember this special day.
On the second day,we did many wonderful things. We visited a nearby lake, and even tried fishing. We heard the birds singing happily in the trees.
This trip to the mountain let me see the beauty of nature and the importance of taking a break to enjoy it. I can't wait to go back again someday.
I hope to hear about your holiday soon! Please write back when you can.
Love,
Mary
Last year, our school had a special workshop on body language. It was exciting because few of us knew much about this. In the workshop,Ms. Smith taught us how to use body language.
Ms. Smith told us that body language can sometimes say more than words. She gave us examples, like crossing our arms can mean that we are not interested and smiling can make us look friendly.
During the workshop,we did several fun activities. In one activity,we had to guess how someone was feeling just by looking at their body language. I remember one of my classmates, acted out feeling"anxious". She kept looking down, moving her hands, and didn't look others in the eye. It was clear to all of us that she was anxious without saying a word.
My favourite part was learning about cultural differences (文化差异) in body language. Ms. Smith said that the same body language can have different meanings in different cultures. For example,in some countries, but in others,it means"no". This made us know how important it is to learn about these differences when talking with people from other cultures.
By the end of the workshop,we all felt confident(自信的) about using body language. We also learned that body language can help us build better relationships(关系)
Do you know Buenos Aires is one of the world's top cities for music? And you can hear all kinds of music here.
It's easy to find good classical music in Buenos Aires. Top bands (乐队) from all over the world play in the Teatro Colón and you can also enjoy first﹣class operas. It's not cheap, but you pay less if you get a ticket for a year.
Buenos Aires is full of jazz(爵士) clubs, but the most interesting is Jazzy Pop. It's in a small room in a basement(地下室),so you might see someone famous!
Or if you like drums, visit the Konex Cultural Centre. A band called La Bomba da Tiempo play drums there every Monday night. They play dance music from Africa and Latin America. Tourists come together to enjoy dancing all night long.
Then there's The Roxy. It has two parts, one for live rock music and the other for dance music with DJs. Go there late – the bands don't start playing till 2 am and people start arriving around

On a rainy evening,Lily was walking home from school. She forgot her umbrella(雨伞) and she had to hurry along the street. At that time she saw an old woman carry some heavy shopping bags. Lily decided to help.
"Can I help you with your bags?"Lily asked the old woman. The woman smiled and nodded her head. Together, they walked to the woman's house, talking along the way. The old man told Lily about her life and how she lived alone. Lily felt good and happy when talking with her.
When they arrived at the old woman's house, the woman asked Lily to dry (变干) off and have some hot chocolate. Lily said yes and they spent some time talking. The old woman was very kind and told Lily how much she thanked her.
As Lily left the house, the rain stopped, and she felt warm inside. She learned that helping others not only brings them happiness but also makes her happy. From that day on
