Anna Mary, known as Grandma Moses, grew up on a farm. As a child, she loved drawing. But she hardly(几乎不) did it because she had to do busy farm work. Grandma Moses spent all her life on the farm. When she was old and found farm work difficult, she started to paint at the age of 78.
An art lover found Grandma Moses's paintings in a shop in 1938. He bought them, and the next day he went to her farm and bought all her paintings. Soon Grandma Moses became famous. In 1940, at the age of 80, she had her first painting show in New York. "Do your favorite thing, and you will finally be successful(成功的),"she once said.
Grandma Moses died in 1961, at the age of 101. She painted over 1600 paintings in the late part of her life. Many people loved the bright colors and beautiful farm views in her works. After knowing Grandma Moses's life story, they felt relaxed about their future(未来) because becoming old didn't mean anything. Also, they thought confidently about their future. They finally knew that age wouldn't be a problem for those who wanted to make a change(改变).

Do you know cross talk? In Chinese its name is xiangsheng. Cross talk is a kind of Chinese rap art. It is a wonderful and important art. Cross talk is usually a Chinese show in a way of talking between two people. Many interesting daily subjects like food, weather, work and clothes are in it. It was from the north of China in the late Qing Dynasty (朝). It began in a way of the street show, but now you can watch it on TV and phones or listen to it on the radio. Chinese cross talk came from 3 places: Beijing Tianqiao, Tianjin Quanycchang, and Nanjing Confucius Temple.
According to(根据) the number of people, there are three kinds of cross talk. One person does the monologue comic talk. Two for the comic cross talk and three or over three for the group talk.
Cross talk is popular in China and it is a special art in Chinese culture. After working or studying, maybe with a cup of tea, people forget all the tiredness and unhappiness in the busy life when watching cross talk. Why not have a try of cross talk now?

Did you hear about Huabobo? It is a traditional steamed bun(馒) in Shandong. Zang Chaiyuan, a young woman from Yantai, made amazing works of Huabobo.
Zang began to love Huabobo when she was only a child. Her grandmother was good at making Huabobo in all kinds of shapes(形状). After she finished college, Zang wanted to start up her Huabobo shop. She learned from an excellent Huabobo maker and then tried over and over again. It was not easy to make quite great Huabobo, but she never gave up. In the end, she found out the ways of making dough(面团), fermentation (发酵), coloring and steaming.
She opened her first small Huabobo shop in Yantai. She made the Huabobo look like "animals" with nice clothes. Now Zang's buns are very popular and she gets many orders from around China.
The buns also brought her about 100 million views on Douyin. Zang said, "I love Chinese culture and I hope young people know this traditional steamed bun."
Yesterday was my grandmother's (sixty) birthday. My parents and I got up early in the morning, and then we took the subway to her home. After we(arrive), my mother cooked in the kitchen.
