Do you often eat out for breakfast or other meals? It's said that China's first AI canteen(餐厅) without any waiter and cook opened in Shanghai. The canteen has all the eight great foods of China, and more than 30 kinds of breakfast for people to choose. The robots(机器人) in the canteen are so clever that they can make lots of delicious food. After cooking, the robots put the food into boxes. People can eat the food there and they can also take the food away.
How to pay for the food in the AI canteen? What people have to do is to place(放置) their food on a smart desk and the computer will tell them the price of the meal. People can pay it in many ways, such as bank cards, QR codes(二维码) and paper money.
At the canteen's food areas(区域),people can find different kinds of foods for their meals. For example, if people like spicy(辣的) food, they can go to the Sichuan food area. If people like sweets, they can go to the Guangdong food area. Many people say that they have more free time because of the Al canteen. They can enjoy the delicious food and then go to work. So more and more people like to go to the AI canteen for meals.
Once, there were two men who lived in the same village. They grew the same plants(植物) in their own(自己的) farm. One man called John was hard-working(勤奋的) and looked after his plants every day. The other man, named Steve, didn't do too much. He just let her plants grow freely.
One evening, there was a heavy rain. It destroyed many of the plants. The next morning, when John woke up, he found that all of his plants fell down(倒下) because of the rain. However, when he got to Steve's farm, he saw that all of the plants were still standing in the farm. Steve's plants lived through the rain!
How did this happen? The plants of the relaxed man learned to do things on their own from the very beginning. They grew deeper roots and made places for themselves in the soil. They could stand up strong on their own, even in a heavy rain. But since John did everything for his plants, they never learned to live through any difficulties.
It is the same for us. One day, you'll have to do everything on your own. If you just let others do everything for you, you'll never learn to do things on our own.

My name is Lisa. My sister finished high school two weeks ago. As a special gift, our parents took us to India. Last weekend was interesting but scary.
We went camping in a small village in India. First, we took a long bus ride to a lake in the countryside. There we put up our tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food on. On the first night, we just sat under the moon and told each other stories.(A). But I was so tired that I went to sleep early. The next morning, my sister and I got a terrible surprise. When we looked out of our tent, we saw a big snake sleeping near the fire. I was so scared that I couldn't move. We shouted to our parents to let them know about the danger. My dad started to jump up and down in their tent. This woke the snake up and it moved into the forest near the lake. My dad told me later that snakes don t have ears but can feel things moving. He also told me it was important not to go near a snake.(B)这对我来说上了一堂非常有用的课.
