"Now you can put prices on them,"Mom said, putting the last of Becca's toys on the table.
It was early in the morning and the Smith family was having a yard sale. They would move into a smaller house, and they had to sell a lot of things.
Becca was sad that she had to move and part with certain toys. Worst of all, her mom had put her in charge of(负责) the kid's table. Becca thought her toys were precious because they brought her lots of joy. So she priced them very high. Because of the high prices, she didn't sell anything until a little girl named Sarah came up to the kid's table. She asked,"Is the toy bear for sale?"
"Yes,"Becca said,"but it's expensive."
"I only have two dollars,"the girl said.
"That's not enough,"Becca said, shaking her head.
"Oh,"Sarah said sadly."I don't have any more."
Becca felt a little guilty (内疚的)."Well, sometimes we drop the prices at the end of the day,"she said.
Sarah jumped on Becca's words."Really? Then I'll wait."An hour later, she asked,"Is the bear still for sale?"There was hope in her eyes.
Becca suddenly felt sorry for what she did. After all, the toy bear wasn't worth 20 dollars.And it would bring joy to Sarah.
"Look,"Becca said,"why don't I drop the price to two dollars?"
"Thank you!"Sarah said and danced around Becca.
When it comes to the Himalayas, what do you have in your mind? High mountains?White snow? Both answers are right, but in the mountain s there is a place called the Valley of Flowers and you can see a very different scene there. It is home to pretty flowers, wild plants and endangered animals.
The Valley of Flowers is in Uttarakhand, one state in the north of India. It is more than 87.5 square kilometers. There are flowers everywhere. However, these flowers are not quite the same as what we often see. They grow in high places in the mountains. There are hundreds of different kinds of flowers in this valley. They bloom (开花) between June and September. When the flowers bloom, the valley looks like a magical world with different colors.
There are also a lot of wild plants, such as trees and grass, in the Valley of Flowers. They are special. Some of them are hard to find anywhere else in the world! What's more, some endangered animals live in the valley, like snow leopards(雪豹).
Now people have turned the Valley of Flowers into a national park. Visitors can't build anything or live there. They can't even stay there for too long at a time. They can only stay there for one day. It's probably not long enough for visitors to see all the real beauty there.

The International Day of Peace is on September 21st. We met the founder of the event and some stars performing.
The idea for Peace Day came about 20 years ago. When actor and film-maker Jeremy Gilley was making some films about the world, he had questions about what he was seeing.
Why did some countries fight in wars? He had many questions and these questions made him decide to create a day of peace. Jeremy told us that peace is about not feeling scared and being with people you love.
Imagine if everyone does one thing a day to help someone, what a difference that can make. Jeremy has an important message for us: We can't take care of our planet without peace, and we can't have peace without taking care of our planet.
Actor Mark Rylance sang with his friend, musician Sting. Mark told us that Peace Day for him was about being positive(积极乐观的) and helping others.
Going to the Peace One Day celebration event was amazing. It has really helped me think about all the ways I can use to create peace every day.

The name is Rose. She married a Chinese man and moved with her husband to a village in Zhejiang in 2014. After coming to China, Rose returned to Uganda. In 2021, she began sharing videos of her life online so that her family in Africa could how she lives in China.
