Americans love doughnuts so much that they even have a festival for them. In the US, the first Friday of June is National Doughnut Day. This year it is on June 2.
A doughnut is a piece of deep-fried dough. It has a hole in the center. It usually has a lot of sugar in it.
Doughnuts may not be healthy but they are easy and cheap to make. This makes them part of everyday life.
You can find them in nearly every bakery in the US. There are also doughnut chain stores, like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts. Many of them give people free doughnuts on National Doughnut Day. Some of the doughnut stores are open for 24 hours. So, it's common for US people to eat a doughnut for breakfast on their way to work in the morning, and it also makes a good latenight snack.
Today there are so many different kinds of doughnuts. People put chocolate, cereals and even bacon on them. You can make them into different flavours as you like. But you should be careful not to have too many.

There is a fox and a stork living near a river. One day, the fox asks the stork to come to his home for dinner. The stork is very happy, because she always thinks the fox doesn't like her. She goes to the fox's home on time and knocked on the door with her long beak.
The fox takes her to the dinner table. There is some soup in two shallow bowls for them to eat. But because the bowl is too shallow for the stork, she can't use his beak to eat any of the soup. The fox, however, eat up his soup fast and laughs at the stork.
The stork is very angry, but she doesn't show her anger. She thanked the fox for his delicious soup. And for that, the stork also asks the fox for dinner at her house the next day.
When the fox gets to the stork's house, he sees delicious soup in two tall narrow vases. The stork's long beak makes it easy for her to drink the soup form the vase. But the fox can't reach the soup because his neck was too short. The fox knows what the stork means. Feeling ashamed, the fox leaves.
Do you want to keep healthy every day?Here are some things you can do.
To do it, you must go to bed early in the evening. Don't watch TV or play computer games too late. You should go to bed before ten o'clock and then get up at about six in the morning.
Because they're healthy food. Ice-cream and hamburgers taste good, but they are really not good for you. So don't eat them every day. And you must eat a healthy breakfast every morning.
Don't say that you are always busy and have no time to play sports. That's just an excuse. In the morning, you can run. After work, you can play ball games with your friends. Even in the evening, you can take a walk. When you're free, just play sports!
Good friends make you happy. They can tell you how to be healthy, too. You can help each other in need.
You can meet new people and get new skills in different clubs. You can talk with your friends and make new friends.
