Journey to the West is a traditional Chinese novel (小说) from the Ming Dynasty. It was written  Wu Cheng'en in the 16th century. It is very popular around the world. The Monkey King is the main  in this novel. He is not just any normal monkey. He is created out of a rock and he sometimes doesn't even look like a monkey. The main reason is that he can not only  72 changes to his body but also turn himself into different animals and objects. However, he can't turn himself into a man  he can hide his tail. He has  magic stick and he usually keeps it in his ear. He is able to make it large and long. People love this story because the clever Monkey King keeps fighting to help the  and never gives up. 

One day a farmer's horse fell down into a well (井). It cried sadly for 1 . The farmer tried to help the horse, but he found the well was so 2 that the horse couldn't get out of the well and finally he made a difficult decision to cover up the well.

Volunteering doesn't just mean serving others. Every act of volunteering gives volunteers the chance to make a difference in their life and develop their own potential (潜能). 

Music can make a difference to our body and mind. For music lovers, listening to music can reduce (减少) stress and physical pain (疼痛), and it can also improve our moods (情绪) and sleep quality. 

A new study found that people could reduce pain by listening to their favorite songs. The researchers asked 63 young adults to bring two of their favorite songs and let each person keep a hot teacup in hands while listening to music. The result showed that when people listened to music they liked, it could reduce the pain they felt by 10%. 

Music and sleep have close relationship. For example , listening to the right music can improve sleep quality. Soft music can help us relax and fall asleep more easily. Studies have shown that music can slow down heart rate and lower blood pressure. It can also make us more excited. Different kinds of music have different effects (效果). Classical music and nature sounds are often used. To use music for sleep, choose some relaxing songs or sounds and play them at a low volume before bed. In a word,music can improve sleep and relaxation. 

Music is a powerful (强有力的) tool that can play a role in our health. By listening to music in our daily life, we can make our quality of life better and enjoy many benefits (好处) it offers. 

The relationships between you and your parents may get worse because you don't communicate a lot. So it's important to have good communication with your parents. 

Be respectful(尊敬的) and warm. 

Always be respectful to parents.  It can also make your parents feel your love and warmth. Respectful communication means providing parents with the information they want or asking if they need any help. 

Be open and honest with parents. 

Family often stop communicating because it's easier to ignore (忽视) a problem than to have a conversation about it. If the problem is important to you, talk about it with your parents. 

Don't just talk about the difficult part. 

 Encourage your parents to share how they feel about their life and work. Regular communication about the less important things will make the difficult talks much easier.

Guizhou is a place full of mountains and the mountainous landform (地貌) makes bridges the special symbols of Guizhou. Bridges bring the villages closer together and bring more chances to the land. It is the chances that make Guizhou be able to show its wonderful events to the world. 

"Village Super", also known as "cunchao", takes place in Rongjiang every year. The game has caught people's eyes in a short time. "Village Super" is mainly organized and taken part in (参加) by local people. It is different from the World Cup, because during the halftime of the competition, there will be performances of Dong ethnic songs (侗族大歌), Miao Lusheng dances and so on. People will jump in circles, and the circle is just like a cultural symbol connecting heart to heart. 

Another special event "Haohuahong" was held from April 30th to May 3rd, 2024 in Qiannan. Lots of people from Qiannan took part in the event. The event followed the rules of local customs and helped develop the hometown. Many performances showed the culture of Qiannan. During the tourism season, there were lantern shows, food streets and agricultural product exhibitions (农产品展销).
