Uncle Tom's Cabin is a famous book by American writer Harriet Beecher Stowe. It is one of the most important (小说) about American slavery(奴隶制度). It came out in 1852 and has been loved by (百万) of people since then.
Uncle Tom's Cabin (描写) the experiences of Uncle Tom, a slave(奴隶). On the boat to New Orleans, Tom saves the life of Eva. So Eva's father buys him and then Eva (保护) him. Always sick, Eva's health becomes worse (快速地). So for most of the time, she should not stay (在外面). When she is dying. she asks his father (允许) all his slaves to be free. Her father (计划) to do so. (然而), he is killed before he can do that. In the (最后), Tom dies as a slave.
Last weekend, my family and I had a visit to Chime-long Safari Park. It is
(远) from my hometown, so we went there by coach, but it didn't
(花费) as much as by train.
The centre of Guangdong's Chime-long Safari Park isn't (宽) than an area of 2km², but it's a (大自然) park for animals with the most species in the world. There we saw pandas from China, elephants from Africa and more. Here I am (描述) one of the most interesting animals.

Last week our school(举行) a sports meeting. Everyone in our class felt very(兴奋的) because we were the winners. In the boys' relay race, Michael ran very fast and our class (赢得) first place. Yu Ting is good at the long jump and she also won. We're sorry that we did(糟糕地) in the high jump but we're sure we can do(更好地) next time. I took part in the boys'400-metre race. I did my(最好) and was the first to (通过) the finishing line. This encourages me a lot. Now I love sports better. I want to be a soccer (运动员). I will take(更多的) exercise every day and I hope some day I will be (有能力的) to take part in the Olympic Games.

Jim Green is from London. He is now in Beijing. He visited many interesting places in Beijing, but he was too busy to visit other parts of China before. He had a (旅行) to Mount Emei in Sichuan with his (同学) last week.

The train was quite nice and tidy, and it wasn't (拥挤的) in their sleeping car.

The conductor(列车员) kept coming to give them hot water and selling them newspapers. People (附近) talked with each other. A young man tried to speak with him in English. Jim thought the train was like a big moving party. He went to sleep late. He enjoyed listening to the sound of the running train and then fell(睡着的).
Lao She is the pen name of Shu Qingchun. He was born in 1899. At the age of 19, he became a (校长) of a primary school. Six years later, he went to England and taught Chinese there. He wrote the famous (戏剧) Teahouse in 1957. It (描述) the lives of (普通的) people. It tells us the story of Wang Lifa and his (顾客) . Lao She's plays, (小说) and short stories are (主要地) about people's lives, so he was (给……命名) "the People's Artist". Today, you can find his books in Chinese as well as in some other (语言) . He is really one of the greatest Chinese writers in the (第二十) century.
All around the world there are many kinds of animals. And more and more of them are in(危险) now. The tiger in (东北) China is one of them. The tigers don't have (足够的) food to eat or places to live in. The (形势) is very serious.
The (人口) is becoming larger and larger. People need more and more places to live and more food to eat. So they take away(夺去) their land and (森林) .And their water isn't good to drink because people made it dirty.
We need to (保护) them and help them live in (和平) .We shouldn't cut down their forests any more. The local (政府) should set up more (自然) parks for them. What else, we should make the water clean. It's our duty to keep a good environment for both the animals and ourselves.
